The fields of Peacock Farm

Our story

Food, family, future…

Five generations of farming in the heart of the Vale of Belvoir.

Lying in the heart of the Vale of Belvoir, Peacock Farm has been our family farm and home for five generations.

The farm spans over 1,500 acres, producing oil seed rape, wheat, barley and beans. From that land we make our own homemade fruit vinegars, cold-pressed rapeseed oils, honey and eggs — and we fill our honesty shed and Christmas hampers with wonderful produce from other local suppliers too.

Food

Homemade fruit vinegars, cold-pressed rapeseed oil, honey and free-range eggs — alongside the finest produce from our neighbours in the vale.

Family

Run by Leigh and Donya with their children growing up in the thick of it — feeding the chickens, pressing the seed and learning the bees.

Future

We farm with the next generation in mind: caring for the land, the wildlife and the people who will inherit it.

The next generation

Everyone lends a hand

Farming is a family affair. Our children are part of everything we do — from feeding the chickens and collecting eggs to helping press the seed and learning to look after the bees.

It's how we were raised, and it's how we hope to pass on a love of real food, the countryside and where it all comes from.

From field to bottle

Made here, the slow way

We grow it, press it and bottle it ourselves. Our fruit vinegars capture the taste of a British summer, our rapeseed oil is pressed cold to keep its golden goodness, and our honey comes straight from our hives in the vale.
