Vegan Chocolate Cake

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease and line two 8" tins.
  2. Whisk together the dry ingredients.
  3. Whisk the wet ingredients separately, then pour into the dry mixture and beat until smooth.
  4. Divide between the tins and bake for 40 minutes, until a skewer comes out clean.
  5. Make the frosting by whisking all the frosting ingredients until smooth (add a splash of oat milk if needed).
  6. Level one cake layer, frost it, place the second layer on top, then frost the exterior and decorate with grated vegan chocolate.
